Biomes Map

1. Biome Map: Locate your copy of the world map in your 'Exploring Biomes' packet. Biomes are typically classified by their average temperature and precipitation. Every biome has it's own unique characteristics that enable it to support a specific kind of plant and animal life.  Once you have found your map, color the blank world map to show where different biomes are located. (Use the Biomes of the World map on the project's website for reference.)  Be sure to create a key for your colored map and write the definition of "biome" on the map.
